Cafeteria Manager jobs in Vermont
Cafeteria Manager manages an on site company cafeteria. Oversees operations including ordering, inventory, meal planning, food preparation, and service. Being a Cafeteria Manager ensures operations are in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Manages and trains cafeteria staff. Additionally, Cafeteria Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Cafeteria Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Cafeteria Cashier

$15-$18.48 / Hour, Full-Time, Day Shift
Your day-to-day as a Cafeteria Cashier :
- Serve food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff in the cafeteria
- Maintain adequate food and supply levels in the cafeteria
- Handle daily food service and payment transactions
- Ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met
- Provide customer service in a timely manner
Your skills and experience :
- Experience in the food service field following recipes and dietary orders is preferred
- Ability to stand / walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Can represent the company in a professional manner
