The State Group is seeking a CAD Drafter to support our Delta Services Louisville, Kentucky location. Delta Services, a Division of The State Group, is a leader in electrical construction, communications, fire systems, and security. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Adhere to safety protocols and actively promote a positive safety culture.
• Prepare CAD layouts, as-built drawings, 3D models, 3D renderings, and reference drawings with precision.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the development and compilation of operations and maintenance manuals.
• Organize and archive documentation from previous projects.
• Draft related technical documents, including material lists and detailed cost estimates.
• Communicate effectively with team members to accurately update and modify technical drawings based on project needs and feedback.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

• 5 years of relevant experience, a degree in CAD, or an associate degree in Drafting/Design or
• Fire Alarm System Design preferred.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Blue Beam software.
• Proficiency in fire alarm systems encompassing design, installation, and commissioning preferred.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and efficient time management skills to meet fast deadlines for print completion.
• Previous work experience in the construction industry is preferred.
