JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an exceptional accounting professional to join our Finance Team as the Business Unit (BU) Controller. Ideal candidates will use their passion for accounting, finance, and business to partner with the BU leadership to continue to grow their businesses. The BU Controller will be responsible for all aspects of financial management for their assigned business unit, including but not limited to managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and project accounting where applicable. The BU Controller will collaborate with various teams across the organization to achieve these objectives and is expected to report into Corporate Accounting with a strong dotted line to the BU President.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage the accounting staff and provide true leadership, coaching, and mentoring
Manage day to day Accounting activities to ensure proper running of the Accounting functions
Manage the financial close processes, ensuring that financial statements are accurate, timely, and in accordance with US GAAP
