Primary Responsibilities: 

• Work with stakeholders to develop requirement and specification documents
• Serve as a key resource in decomposing and solutioning complex analytic requirements
• Recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, devise solutions and alternatives, and make appropriate recommendations
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and present information and findings to client, leadership, and other stakeholders groups
• Translate business requirements into test plans
• Track and understand changes/defects/issues/risks; own the process through to finalization and resolution
• Provide input into project planning, estimation, and task prioritization
• Continuously improve the quality of business processes and steward for the highest quality standards
• Monitor industry and program standards, laws, policies, procedures, etc.
• Use range of tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Project, Purview, and Visio 
• Balance multiple projects and priorities

Required Qualifications: 

• 8 years of business analysis in the Health and Human Services industry 
• 5 years of experience gathering and documenting requirements
• 4 years of experience analyzing business processes/workflows, and providing evaluations, benchmarks and/or process improvement recommendations
• 2 years supporting and working directly with an IT organization
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proven excellent problem solving skills, including managing multiple priorities, and researching conflicting and/or inaccurate data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of federal requirements for the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS)
• Knowledge of The West Virginia Bureau for Child Support Enforcement

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
