    Job Description

    Data visualization and analytics services are growing in CDM Smith's Federal Service Unit. We are looking for a business intelligence specialist to join our team. Initially, this position will support a key program in Puerto Rico. But there are opportunities to work for clients and projects across CDM Smith.

    Their main tasks include:
    Data analysis: Preprocessing, analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data to turn it into actionable insights.
    Data modeling: Creating efficient data models, defining relationships between tables, and implementing measures and calculations.
    Data visualization: Using visual elements like charts, graphs, or maps to represent data.
    Business requirements: Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
    Reporting: Designing, developing, and deploying reporting tools and automated reports and dashboards
    Security: Establishing row-level data security while understanding Power BI's application security layer models
    Maintenance: Maintaining and supporting platforms for data analytics, and enhancing and optimizing existing BI systems

    Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree.
    5 years of related experience.
    Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
    Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
