The Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics is responsible for leading the efforts for data governance and architecture for the Shared Business Operations (SBO). They work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency using metrics and dashboarding methodology.

Required:

• Seven (7) or more years in related employment in progressive roles, to include prior leadership positions.
• Must have demonstrated hands on experience in BI techniques, tools, and operational applicability, as well as in building a BI infrastructure.
• Proficiency with industry standard Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, MS PowerBI, SAP Business Objects, Looker, etc.
• Experience with relevant programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• Experience in working in cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at the role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IS, Computer Science, IT or related field.

• Strong knowledge and experience in performance management methodologies and techniques.
• Analytical mindsets with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is beneficial.
• Leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop team members.
• Google Suite

About the Opportunity:

• Performance Management: The leader collaborates with the leaders of the Continuous Improvement and Operations team to identify and ensure needed performance metrics are available and accurate
• Business Analytics: This role will use advanced understanding of business and analytic requirements to provide high impact and relevant data to stakeholders and operational tower leaders via dashboards and reports.
• Leadership: This role will provide structure and guidance to a team of Business Intelligence Analysts/Architects to meet the goals and initiatives of the organization, and will represent the towel and SBO with internal and external stakeholders in the company.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: This leader works with their team to gather and analyze data related to performance metrics and trends. They provide reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas of improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
• Training and Development: This leader will collaborate with HR and departmental managers to ensure relevant metrics are available to identify training needs and develop appropriate programs to enhance employee's skills and knowledge. This may involve designing workshops, delivering training sessions, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
• Stakeholder Engagement: This role will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders, such as department heads, executives, and cross-functional teams, to align performance management and continuous improvement efforts with organizational goals. They foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
• Best Practices and Benchmarking: The leader stays updated on industry best practices and benchmarks performance against competitors or similar organizations. They identify opportunities for improvement based on external benchmarks and implement strategies to achieve or exceed industry standards.
