The BI Manager will be responsible for the execution of reporting, analysis, and ETL of critical business data as well as the management of BI department members and our analytics infrastructure. This role will work closely with many cross-functional department leaders as well as senior executives on high impact projects. Technical ability, extreme attention to detail and business acumen are essential. Expertise and proven thought leadership in SQL Server, Google Cloud, and Tableau is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of junior analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
• Manage our on-premises Tableau Server and Tableau Online infrastructure. Empower other departments in the business to leverage these investments.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
• Monitor and analyze e-commerce metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value.
• Perform market research and analysis.
• Participate in management meetings related to intelligence reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data audits and validation checks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Expert proficiency in Tableau, with a proven track record of creating impactful visualizations and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in querying large datasets and optimizing SQL queries for performance.
• Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, data modeling, and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leading and managing a team of analysts is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing analytics tools is preferred.
