DESCRIPTION: The Wind River Hotel & Casino Gift Shop is a unique shopping experience that carries a variety of gifts, cigarettes, sundry items, jewelry, blankets, and apparel. The gift shop also sells Native American traditional items such as sage, sweet grass, handmade bead work, etc. Great customer service is essential to the continued success and growth of the shop. Title 24; Non-Sensitive Safety Position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for keys, cashier till, and securing products in the gift shop at-all-times.
· Greet and help all customers friendly and help with prices and information on products.
· Must be dependable, reliable, and honest.
· Must be able to work alternate times during peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends.
· Conflict resolution skills with disputes of customers and vendors.
· Keeping the store clean, neat, and well-stocked at-all-times.
· Assist in the inventory of merchandise being ongoing and at the end of each month.
· Maintain a working knowledge of where gift shop merchandise is stored and assist in retrieving for customers.
· Restock items.
· Organize merchandise in and on displays.
· Operates point-of-sale for all transactions.
· Check proper identification for purchases of cigarettes.
· Watch for shoplifters, call Security if necessary.
· Scan in items received from vendors and check with order for correct items and numbers.
· Apply discounts for customers and employees.
· Must abide by the Company Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures.
· Must attend mandatory training and / or meetings.
· All other duties as assigned.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
· Must be 21 at time of hire.
· Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
· Must be able to pass a background investigation.
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
· Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
