Budget Manager manages and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of the organization's budget policies and guidelines. Monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and interim budgets. Being a Budget Manager coordinates budget appropriations and responds to exception requests for funds. Monitors and analyzes performance against budgets. Additionally, Budget Manager implements and supports tools and reporting used for planning, forecasting, monitoring, and decision support. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting. Typically reports to a director. The Budget Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Budget Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Client and Budget Reporting Manager

  • Primary responsibilities include providing daily research and support to supervisory attorneys and client managers, including maintaining and organizing multiple calendars, data entry, and processing client-requested reports and budgets. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor, organized, motivated, a self-starter, able to multitask, work well with others, have a strong work ethic, and communicate with clients and co-workers by telephone, e-mail, letter, and in person.  


     

    Duties may include but are not limited to: 


    • Supervise/Manage a list of clients on behalf of the entire department. This includes coordinating all verbal / written requests on behalf of the client as well as the firm 
    • Providing daily support to attorneys and client managers 
    • Generating client tax estimates, budgets, and other various reports as requested  
    • Account for attorney professional and personal data 
    • Execute attorney requests on a case-by-case basis 
    • Personal assistant tasks 
    • Maintain and organize multiple calendars and conference lines  
    • Heavy research
    • Tracking appeal deadlines
    • Preparing paperwork for appeal (i.e., form, cover letter, etc.) 
    • Managing our database of electronic client files 
    • Answering and routing incoming phone calls 
    • Processing mail and incoming correspondence 
    • Appearance conscious 


    Requirements: 


    • Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor of Science or Business & Management preferred) - Candidates that do not currently hold a bachelor's degree will not be considered for this position 
    • Two to four years of office and real estate experience
    • Minimum Cumulative Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

    Compensation:


    • Starting Wage: $60,000
    • 120 hours of PTO after a 90-day probation period (unused hours are forfeited annually)
    • Typically, 17 plus paid holidays

    • 3% of salary employer 401k contribution after two years of employment
    • Business casual dress code with exceptions based on assigned tasks and positions
