RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with budget and proposal development for new contracts within the Client Relations Department
- Work closely with all departments within the organization in determining the scope of activities and developing accurate budgets
- Conduct cross-departmental meetings to ensure clear understanding of client needs and expectations
- Assist in tracking project and contract timelines
- Conduct out of scope analyses and develop contract amendments
- Perform budget versus actual cost analyses in support of project finance management
- Assist the Head of Project Management in project financial analyses and management
- Closely collaborate with and learn from the Senior Budget Analyst
- Attend industry-related meetings and events, as needed
- Actively maintain quality of contact information, such as tracking job changes and company movement of contacts and relationships within our Client Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Become our inhouse Subject Matter Expert in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (SharpSpring); assist in developing internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to using the CRM and train internal team members as needed on using the system
- Manage the business development opportunities pipeline in our CRM, keeping records updated regarding active and potential clients
- Lead and conduct periodic cleaning of CRM database, engaging with internal team members as needed
- Closely collaborate with the Marketing Committee in efficiently using the database for both business development and marketing purposes

EDUCATION
- BS, or BA, preferably in Finance or Business
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years of experience working with budgets
- Prior experience working with clinical trial budgets preferred but not required
SKILLS
- Detail oriented
- Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills with experience in modeling and forecasting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
