• Manages client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly. Ensures compliance with accounting regulations, company policies, and bookkeeping industry standards and implements/maintains quality control measures to maintain high service standards.

• Sets business objectives for the bookkeeping services unit, develops budgets, defines key performance indicators (KPIs), and establishes measurement mechanisms.
• Oversees sales activities, engaging as needed. Initiates and manages the process of client engagement, including preparing and presenting proposals.
• Implements and continually improves processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Acts as the primary point of contact and liaison between the bookkeeping services team and internal departments ensuring collaboration.
• Drives business development initiatives.
• Develops and implements customer strategies, processes and procedures based on organizational needs.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technology, to achieve organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with 6 years of progressive experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory responsibilities, preferably with project management. Masters level education or certifications (CPA, CMA) are preferred.

• Specialized knowledge in accounting software (church financials, non-profit, or similar) or industry-specific regulations is advantageous.
• Demonstrated decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Proven track record of building and nurturing positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze data and construct business cases to support proposed actions.
