Bookkeeping Manager manages and oversees all the bookkeeping staff. Responsible for the practices and procedures to ensure timely and accurate records and reports. Being a Bookkeeping Manager provides assistance to other financial function: budgets, payroll, etc. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Bookkeeping Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Bookkeeping Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     What Requirements Are We Looking For?

    • Previous Business Experience Required - This would include getting an undergraduate or MBA for business, or working intimately in a small business before.
    • Not Afraid to Dive Into Numbers - You’ll be investigating Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets and other financial metrics to help someone succeed.
    • Customer Service Experience Required - You’ll need to be skilled at dealing with many personalities, as you will be meeting with business owners on a regular basis to solve their financial problems.
    • Has a Love for Business and Entrepreneurship - We work with small business owners all day, everyday. So helping them find a better solution for bookkeeping, one of the most important roles in business ownership, should excite you!
    • Ready For a Firehose of Knowledge - We deal with companies in all sorts of industries, so you'll need to be ready to absorb a lot of knowledge and feedback.
    • Strong Computer Skills - Technology does not intimidate you.
    • Pass a Background Check - If you have a past, that’s fine. We just need to know that you’re not a psycho.
