Being a Bookkeeper follows bookkeeping procedures established by the organization. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Additionally, Bookkeeper typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bookkeeper works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Perform month-end closing activities such as reconciliation.
- Perform data entry tasks and manage data integrity for accounting software.
- Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports.
- Contribute to the community by ensuring the financial health and transparency of the organization.
