GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical tasks, process a wide range of cases brought before the Magistrate Court, perform clerical duties for the Magistrate Court judges, accept payments, and performs clerical duties for the Clerk's office.
NECESSARY SKILLS: The ability to accurately perform multiple detailed tasks in a fast paced environment which will include: typing and keyboarding; working in a professional manner with the public, law enforcement and other personnel interdependent with court systems; receiving and precisely account for money; answering the telephone, computer data entry; and all other duties assigned by supervisors. Must be able to maintain high degree of confidentiality and ethical standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds; Work is performed primarily in an office environment and the employee in this class is subject to inside environmental conditions; Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks.
TASKS: The tasks are not limited to but include a variety of physical activities, occasionally involving muscular activity, such as lifting, and bending. Attention to detail, ability to problem solve and multi-task.
