To use Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) on the creation of programs for complex data manipulation, preparation of analytic data sets, statistical analyses, data management and quality assurance. To prepare tables for reports, manuscripts and presentations as needed. To strategize and consult with researchers on epidemiology design, analysis, graphing procedures, and the sequential procedures to develop the programs for their final analytic data sets or statistical results. To meet with researchers and to work with little or no supervision. To document and summarize work for project reports and to define systematic programming procedures. To check and verify the work of other less experienced programmers and occasionally present results of analyses at project meetings. To work with multiple researchers in various schools at UAB and other universities.
