ERM is hiring a Consultant, Field Biologist to conduct aquatic surveys, including fish, macroinvertebrates, and physical habitat parameters for projects across North America.
Successful candidates must be flexible and responsive to a challenging and changing work environment where schedules, site locations, and tasks fluctuate according to the needs of the project.
This is a field leadership role requiring strong technical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Practical skills in a range of active and passive sampling techniques included electrofishing, gill netting, seining, kicknetting, and environmental DNA collection are required.
In-depth knowledge of native non-game fish taxonomy and biogeography in the southeast United States and prior malacological experience are both highly desirable. RESPONSIBILITIES :
