Beverage Supervisor - Casino jobs in New Mexico

The Downs Racetrack and Casino is seeking Casino Beverage Servers to join our team!

The Beverage Server is responsible for providing prompt, efficient and friendly service of non-alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls, and all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Promotes positive public and team member relations.
• Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
• Prompt, efficient and friendly quality service of drinks ordered.
• Prepares set-ups and properly garnishes drinks.
• Retrieves used glasses.
• Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
• Clears trash and empties ashtrays in an effort to make the guest’s experience more pleasurable.
• This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.

Job Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.

Working Conditions

• Work is normally performed in a typical casino work environment
• Noise level is moderate to high
• Moderate or high exposure to cigarette smoke
• Limited exposure to physical risk
• Moderate physical effort required occasionally having to lift and carry 30 pounds
