      SUMMARY: Responsible for analyzing and improving a variety of systems used by the district. Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive decision-making in the organization. Develop process and data requirements and translate them into system designs including programs, interfaces, tables, panels, and reports. Formulate and define system scope and objectives at all stages of development. Provide support to internal production infrastructures, collaborating with customers, driving processes, analyzing, and solving complex technical problems, executing on production change management requirements, and providing technical services to solve root cause of break/fix incidents and cases. Develops and provides technical leadership ensuring technical solutions. Leads in the formation of project goals, scope, and schedule. Leads management of Information Systems projects and processes.

      • Participate at all stages of development including scope, objective, research, analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation


      • Develop and customize new features by analyzing, programming, testing, and implementing new modules and features. Ensure data integrity and quality assurance.


      • Determine requirements analysis and design specifications. Develop plans and programs to convert existing data to new/upgraded systems.


      • Collaborate with departments and clients in project design and development from start to finish. Develop and coordinate production processing schedule.


      • Provides programming and support for operating systems and database management systems.


      • Write, review, and approve documentation for the system and communicates any procedural changes to appropriate staff members.


      • Develops and provide system, processes and/or program training for users as needed.


      • Evaluate new software solutions.


      • Provide guidance and support to less experienced analysts.


      • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to help drive decision-making in the organization.


      • Clean and reorganize data for analysis.


      • Lead, manage, and prioritize assigned projects, actively participate on project teams, and contribute to overall project team objectives; provide expertise, document processes. Track and manage changes.


      • Analyze sets of quantitative and qualitative data, depending on the needs of specific applications.


      • Gather, clean, and process raw data.


      • Performs other duties as assigned.


      EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major desired. Four (4) additional years of similar and relevant experience may be substituted for this requirement.
      Minimum of five (5) years experience in systems analysis and programming methodologies.
      Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

      LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:
      Criminal background check required for hire.
