The Medical Benefits QA Analyst is responsible for developing and executing test plans that ensure an accurate implementation of medical benefits in the claims processing systems. This position is also responsible for testing claims applications to ensure that the system changes meet the business and functional requirements. This position will work closely with the Technical Services, Service Operations and the programming staff to conduct claims analysis and coordinate implementation of solutions that will achieve efficiencies in claims processing. Job-Specific Requirements Bachelor’s degree or related years of experience. A minimum of five years of experience in claims processing or adjustments required. Prior experience in applications testing, preferably claims systems, required. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must demonstrate a logical thought process in order to analyze problems, and then identify and implement solutions. Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure work products are of high quality. Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. Prior experience with health insurance medical claims processing systems is preferred. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is an Equal opportunity Employer.
