Description and duties:

• Welcome, greet and make guests feel comfortable and valued for the duration of their visit
• Accurately help and educate guests regarding preparation, tastes, and quality of the dishes on our renowned menu and craft drinks from our bar
• Serve and mix beverages for guests and guest tables
• Practice safe/sanitary food handling procedures
• Perform all necessary side work
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area
• Assist fellow bartenders, servers and bus persons as situations arise and/or tables require clearing or resetting
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, properly reconcile guest payment
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirement prior to serving alcohol
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
• Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and problem solving skills
• Stock bar with appropriate supplies
• Maintain the no overserving core value at all times
• Keep accurate account of monies in cash drawer

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years old

Prefer previous bartending experience at a full service bar

Must possess spirit, wine, and beer knowledge

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training expected

Must be available to work night, weekends and holidays

Pay: $8 to $11/hr plus tips!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour
