Position Description:

Ecompex is recruiting for a Cost Estimator to provide professional support services to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to support real property, technical, energy and environmental objectives and critical missions. Some responsibilities of this position can include preparing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and life cycle costs for acquisition and program support requirements. Occasional travel will be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a CBP Tier IV background investigation to be placed in a position of Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s Degree related to the position.
• Construction Cost Estimation experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years related work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Word, Excel.
• Strong communication, written, and verbal skills.
• Experience with government contracting.

Required Skills:

• Experience utilizing cost estimation software.
• Strong ability to perform comparative cost analysis.
• Experience conducting training sessions for personnel.
• Experience developing metrics to track cost estimates.
