Assist head coach in administering and managing the intercollegiate sport of women’s soccer within the educational mission of University and Department of Athletics.
Assist with training and coaching student athletes to compete effectively and successfully on NCAA Division I level. Assist with managing and planning for daily practices and intercollegiate contests and supervise conditioning and training program in conjunction with appropriate professional staff.
Assist with recruiting high quality student-athletes who are capable of succeeding in a challenging academic environment and an intensely competitive soccer program.
Provide general guidance and support for student-athletes in athletic and non-athletic endeavors to enhance their experience at the University and promote academic success.
Assist with managing the program budget to include ordering team equipment and planning for team travel. Abide by all University of Vermont, NCAA and America East conference rules and regulations.
Participate actively in University, general public, alumni, and media appearances and fundraising and booster events. Demonstrate commitment to issues of social justice and diversity.
Bachelor's degree in related field and one to three years experience in recruiting NCAA prospects and / or coaching at the intercollegiate level required.
