                                   Certified Athletic Trainer

                             DeMatha Catholic High School

DeMatha Catholic High School is looking to hire an athletic trainer for the 2024-2025 school year.

DeMatha is an all-boys High School that offers 14 Varsity Sports that play a national schedule.

The athletic trainer would assist the three full time ATC’s on staff providing Athletic Training services to the student athletes of the school. 

Requirements:

Graduated from a CAATE Accredited program

NATABOC

Maryland License or eligible

CPR and First Aid Certified

Duties /Responsibilities:

Emergency management of athletic injuries

Athletic preventive care

Rehabilitation of athletic injuries

Injury evaluation

Strong communication skills

Strong Interpersonal skills

Multi-tasking ability

Flexibility

Maintain health records

Physician referral

Ability to follow written or verbal instruction

Ability to demonstrate and maintain professional demeanor with all members of the sports medicine team/athletes

Experience:

0-2 years

Salary:

$52,000-Negotiable
