Being an Associate Pastor provides clerical support such as researching, selecting, and documenting passages or prayers to assist the pastor in planning and leading worship. Assists with administrative duties including managing calendars and schedules, preparing materials or educational documents, and communicating with volunteers. Additionally, Associate Pastor performs religious services and leads prayer. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a pastor. The Associate Pastor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Full-time, part-time, or per diem positions available, no weekends, evenings or on-call duty. New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply. Practice is in a modern building designed with eyecare and patient flow in mind with 5 examination lanes. We are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment (Optos Monaco, OCT, Zeis HVF, automated refraction lane, an active contact lens practice including scleral contact lens fitting set and amniotic membranes), and a full service optical retail space.
We service patients of all ages and demographics. Located in the capital of Maine, we have a large concentration of professional men and women.
