Registered Nurse (RN) - Antepartum

Type: Full Time (36 Hour Weeks)

Shift: Night Shift, 12 Hour Shifts

Responsibilities:

• Advocacy: Champion ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs of those we serve.
• Facilitate Learning: Create a nurturing learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team, including students. Foster formal and informal learning for patients/families, nursing, healthcare team members, and the community.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, practicing to the top of your license within legal parameters. Promote a culture of inquiry, exploring and disseminating research and evidence-based practices.

Maintain essential competencies required by the specific area of hire and populations served.

• Safety and Quality: Ensure safety by identifying and correcting problems, integrating evidence, and best practices into nursing care. Use data to improve patient outcomes and align patient safety, self-safety, and environmental safety as equally important for best results.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• 1 year of Antepartum Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.

Ideal Candidate:
