Being an Assistant Treasurer ensures financial transactions, policies, and procedures fulfill the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Assists with the corporate banking, credit, and investment functions. Additionally, Assistant Treasurer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Assistant Treasurer manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Summary:
Performs a variety of advanced, full performance technical tasks as required to expedite the collection, recording, receipting and balancing of county revenues. Responsible for administering the drainage district program.
Part-time with Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) benefits.
Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of one years' experience in accounting. Knowledge of general office practices including use of computer and software applications such as Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
WORK HOURS:
Minimum of sixteen (16) hours per week plus more hours when needed for vacation or sick leave coverage. Full time during the months of June, November and December. The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) benefit is included.
