What to expect:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and packaging products according to company and customer guidelines. As the Assembler, you must have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a positive attitude.
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: Stevensville, Maryland
What you will get to do:- Assemble product according to specifications, inspect for problems or issues, identify possible causes, and report to supervisor. Suggesting alternative solutions is encouraged.
- Use and monitor production tooling and equipment efficiently to prevent situations that could result in costly damage to the tools or result in lost production
- Complete documentation to verify quality processes/inspection
- Package product to be sent to the shipping department
- Other duties as assigned that may include assisting in other areas or departments as needed
Experience Level: Entry-Level
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Basic reading & math skills, manual dexterity, organization skills, and ability to exert 10-50 pounds of force
- Good communication skills, excellent attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with a team and with limited supervision
- Willing to work in other areas if needed
- Time management and team skills
