Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser Sr. (Residential Real Estate) work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The Sr. Administrative Assistant will support and directly report to the Vice President, Chief Counsel, Real Estate (HBRE).- Provide support as directed to ensure the Legal Department's goals and objectives are accomplished and the Legal Department runs smoothly
- Maintain and refine internal processes that support the Legal Department and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Provide administrative support for the Legal document repository, spreadsheet creation, filing, typing, and creating PowerPoint presentations
- Maintain confidentiality, best practices and professionalism with all materials
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a law department or in the legal field
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive, supportive working relationships with all management levels and cross-functional teams
- Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills; attention to details
- Demonstrate an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, initiative additional tasks and organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
