JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Education Department to closely monitor Satisfactory Academic Progress for all active students
• Working individually with active students at-risk for dropping out of the program.
• Monitoring each program’s graduation rate to ensure that the school is meeting program outcome expectations
• Track and report on student advising opportunities and input into physical and electronic student files.
• Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. Campus Nexus experience a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally or overnight for business purposes.
• Working with dropped students and Admissions to quickly identify re-entry candidates and securing all necessary documentation for a successful re-enrollment process
• Participate in interdepartmental review sessions
• Develop a pipeline of resources such as programs, benefits, opportunities, for students to be able to access and utilize through seminars, workshops, and information sessions to support student retention.
• Update resource binder for frequently used resources including medical facilities, health providers, counselors, and other social or emergency services
• Review pending graduates to make sure relationships with Student Affairs and Career Coordinators have been established.
• Conduct outreach efforts to connect with community partners and local area business for opportunities to benefit students.
• Prepare reports to accrediting agencies.
• Assist Student Affairs and Education with events and programs.
• Perform and complete other job-related duties, assignments, special projects as assigned by Supervisor.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, or equitable on-the-job experience
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
