Annuities Customer Service Supervisor jobs in Illinois

Qualifications:

• Basic accounting and good math skills – accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing
• 2-3 years of related accounting experience
• Knowledge of prevailing wage helpful but not necessary
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and use of accounting software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit good judgement and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a paper and paperless accounting environment
• Pleasant and professional phone demeanor
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• All candidates must pass background test prior to employment – Able to secure a PERC card
• Compensation relative to experience

Main Job Responsibilities Include:

• Enter invoices for accounts payable processing, prints checks, scans and labels all invoices
• Prepare and scan daily bank deposit and reviews customer accounts
• Track employee time at prevailing wage job sites
• Prepare, scan and label all weekly employee expense checks
• Perform billing to customers
• Responsible for miscellaneous personnel related administrative functions
• Secure Certificates of Insurance from the insurance company
• Answer front office phones as needed
