Aircraft Painter jobs in Colorado
Aircraft Painter applies pre-mixed and blended paint or coating to interior and exterior of assembled aircraft or parts. Prepares surfaces for painting and protects painted surfaces from erosion. Being an Aircraft Painter requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Aircraft Painter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Requirements:
- Candidate is required to prep and apply coatings to spacecraft surfaces using polyurethanes, epoxy primers, and other specialty coating
- Application of coating will be by HVLP paint guns or equivalent
- Candidates will be required to prep spacecraft surfaces for the application of paint using proper preparation processes
- Required to sand, final wipe using solvent based materials, and mask spacecraft components prior to paint application
- Candidate will be required to read and understand spacecraft paint drawings and apply spacecraft markings and stencils.
