Adult Education Teacher is responsible for teaching courses to adults in a classroom setting. Develops and implements appropriate course work, activities, and assessments for an adult class. Being an Adult Education Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Adult Education Teacher typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Reporting Structure:
The Teacher reports to the ELL or HSE Supervisor of the Wayne Township Adult Education Program.
Performance Agreement:
The Wayne Township Adult Education (WAE) teachers will perform all aspects of the communicated job description. This employee will effectively meet the contractual and performance expectations of the MSD of Wayne Township. Formal performance evaluation will be conducted annually.
Purpose: To plan and deliver rigorous, relevant TABE aligned curriculum; to facilitate student participation and opportunity for mastery
