Activity Director - Nursing Home jobs in California

Activity Director must be able to manage and supervise activity department. Must plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the activity programs of this facility. Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, as well as professional standards of practice. Particiapte in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family. Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments. Performa administrative requirements such as necessary forms, reports, etc. Assist in arranging transportation to other facilities when necessary. Refer resident/families to appropriate social service personnel when the facility does not provide the services or needs of the resident. Work with the facility's activity consultant. Must possess a positive and cheerful personality. Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel. Must work well with residents and families. Must have activity director certificate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
