Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Clerk responds to customer inquiries and assists with the research of any discrepancies regarding bills. May utilize accounting software and systems to manage invoices and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Job Description
The ideal candidate will handle full cycle accounts receivable duties, which include customer service, posting payments, payoffs, batching, deposits, handling check runs, reports, and title / refund requests. This individual will also be responsible for various administrative tasks around the office.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. This position works with department managers to accomplish tasks as needed. Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
