The AP/AR clerk is a full time accounting office position at our VW auto dealership; they are responsible for processing all Accounts Payable and Receivables. Successful candidates will have prior dealership experience, ideally with CDK software. Prompt, reliable attendance and dependable transportation is required.

Schedule: M – F, 8 am – 5 pm

REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, experience using Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors and employees while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Summary of main duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Balance and prepare daily cash, check and credit card deposits
• Prepare monthly receivable customer statements
• Enter and process all vendor invoices for prompt payment
• Reconcile Accounts Payable schedule after each check run, checking for any missed payments
• Process and track all aftermarket product contract submissions and cancellations
• Organize and scan AR and AP documents in archiving system
• Maintain accounting schedules pertaining to role-specific tasks
• Maintain and distribute adjustment and chargeback logs to mgmt. staff
• Track and maintain office supply inventory and order as needed
• Assist with reception coverage during breaks
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
